What is See Me Play Club?

See Me Play Club is a weekly neurodivergent affirming interest-led play programme for neurodivergent and disabled children and young people. Diagnosed and Self – identifying welcome.

These sessions are drop-off, however, parents/carers are welcome to stay as needed, and we understand that this may fluctuate.

The 3-hour session offers a wide variety of opportunities for interest-led play, facilitated by experienced playworkers.

All play is welcome!

Sensory and messy, sound and noise making, art making, movement and stimming, all things special interest based, solo, duo, group and parallel play. See more on neurodivergent play patterns.

At See Me Play Club we can also support longer term interest-led projects, for example: game-design, filmmaking, and music and art making projects.

Who is See Me Play Club for?

Any neurodivergent and/or disabled child/young person (aged 4-17) who would benefit; those with EOTIS, those who are out of school and/or home-educated and those who struggle to have their access needs met in traditional spaces.

We support and embrace all communication styles and take a Total communication approach. We advocate for the use of robust AAC and can support families to access this.

We have low numbers of children/young people and 1-1/2-1 staff which enables us to offer dedicated, thoughtful, flexible and responsive care and support.

This is a small, safe feeling social setting to be playful, and be, exactly as they are.

We love coming and are so grateful to have a space for [my child] to be himself and for me to be with other people who understand the journey and the fight. Both him and I are seen at See Me Play and would be lost without you guys now!

-A regularly attending parent

Thank you so much for having us and creating such a safe environment for kids and adults to show up authentically. It was a great day out in beautiful space. [My child] had so much fun and she said she loves the play workers too!
