Just wanted to say thanks for yesterday - it was a really lovely, no-demand setting and quite different to anything I’ve done with the kids before. After their anxiety of not knowing what to expect wore off they had a really great time. [my child] has been out in our garden this morning planting with my husband, so it definitely sparked something in him.

Favourite place I’ve been to. I’m neurodivergent, and I didn’t realise how stressed I’ve been in other spaces until I came here. I could just relax and be myself. You can just tell everything is done with love, and for the right reasons. I loved it and [my child] had a great time.

[My child] sensed the welcoming atmosphere the moment he raced through the gates. My shoulders instantly softened and relaxed… as I remembered I was in a space that didn’t need my apologies or explanation for my child just being himself! Although society (Margate/Thanet) at least is much more understanding/accepting of neuro divergent traits… I’m still always on high alert. It felt so free… my son felt the same. The volunteers are incredible - kind, knowledgeable and calm!
