We are neurodivergent affirming, intersectionality and trauma informed.
We care deeply about implementing and promoting ND affirming approaches and thinking. We offer training and/or guidance on the ND paradigm and ND affirming playwork to those joining our team.
We always endeavour to work flexibly with a child/young person’s evolving interests and needs.
We follow their lead, and resource their ideas and interests responsively.
Our policies are centred around children and young peoples’ wellbeing and their individual needs as well as children's rights and playwork theory.

Our team are neurodivergent, and have varied lived and professional experiences of neurodivergence and disability.
This gives us a dynamic understanding of the importance of ND/disabled children and young people having access to autonomous, interest-led, creative free-play, as well as the therapeutic value of play.
We actively support children and young people in developing self- agency.
By offering them the time and space to make their own choices and decision, they can be empowered to explore their identities safely and authentically. We implement and advocate for child-led/self directed play and ways of being and for children and young peoples right to autonomy.
